A strong contingent of Houston fighters will go toe-to-toe next week at BiYu Promotions’ BiYu Brawl 2 – the unique boxing and entertainment event at Houston’s Club Hefe.
Following a successful first event in April, BiYu Brawl 2 returns on Thursday July 3rd, with an intriguing card featuring six Houston boxers.
Headlining the show is Houston’s undefeated John ‘Hercules’ Torres (10-0-1, 7KOs) who takes on the experienced 39-year-old Vaughn Alexander (19-13-2, 12KOs) in an eight round contest.
Thirty-one year old Torres, the current Texas super middleweight champion, is expected to have significant support against his Missouri opponent.
The co-main event features one of BiYu Boxing’s very special talents in Dominican Republic fighter Erick Rosado (15-2-0,11KOs). Rosado will be making his US fight debut when he contests a super bantamweight eight-rounder against 27-year-old Texan Joshua ‘Spotlight’ Montoya (6-4-2).
Rosado, aged 25, comes into the fight on the back of a second round stoppage victory in the Dominican Republic in May.
Houston-based 22-year-old Christopher S Gonzalez , who saw his perfect record end in April with a draw in the first BiYu Brawl, returns to face 35-year-old Mexican Jesus Ramon Perez in a six round super featherweight bout looking to chalk up win No 8.
Baytown super lightweight Favian Lopez makes his first appearance of the year against San Benito’s Ricardo Camacho Jr. The duo will contest what is expected to be a lively six round contest.
There is an all Houston featherweight contest which will feature 23-year-old debutant Maximus DeAnda as he takes on 29-year-old Fernando Ramirez over four rounds.
Launched by BiYu Promotions CEO Bobby Harrison April, BiYu Brawl is a brand new concept that brings together Harrison’s passions and business interests with a top class boxing show followed by a legendary party night of beers and babes.
